In addition, Suraj Sharma’s recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa when the ghost was present with him has to be inaudible, as CBFC feels that it’s incompatible with the fact that recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa eradicates ghosts. However, the film’s producers have been instructed by CBFC for adding a detailed disclaimer in the beginning of the film, stating that they don’t believe in ghosts or any superstitious act shown in the movie. If we sat judgement over films on ghosts then we’d have to question why classics like Mahal, Gumnam, Woh Kaun Thi and Lekin were passed.” Not propagating superstition and blind faith falls in the jurisdiction of the State government.
